Bob Godard

Bob is the founder and President of Compass Real Estate, as well as the Executive Manager of the Compass Alpha and Compass Phoenix Real Estate Funds. He has extensive experience in real estate development and investment throughout the Southeastern and Southwestern United States, having completed real estate transactions during his career valued well in excess of $400 million with a concentration in office and industrial acquisitions and development.

Prior to starting Compass, he was a Partner with Triad Properties Corporation, where he was responsible for the acquisition and development of office and industrial buildings and parks throughout the United States. He previously worked as a commercial real estate broker with Lavista Associates and in project management and pre-construction for Holder Construction Company. He has been a community bank organizer and board member and has served in a leadership capacity for numerous professional and community service organizations. Bob graduated at the top of his class from the College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a real estate brokerage license in the State of Georgia. He resides in Norcross, Georgia, with his wife and their two daughters.
