Billy Lovett

Billy Lovett serves as the Managing Principal for Brookwell Capital Group LLC. Early in his career Mr. Lovett was appointed by Governor George Busbee to the Economic Development Council of Georgia. He was also elected to the Public Service Commission for 12 years and the Association of Energy Engineers named him “Regulator of the Year.” In 1990 Lovett was elected to serve as Chairman of the Republican Party of Georgia. Mr. Lovett served as Chief Marketing Officer for a real estate company where he was integral in launching a SFR Fund which was sold to The Blackstone Group.

Mr. Lovett’s has founded several companies and was an investor and helped raise funds for four community banks. He serves on the Board of Digitel Corporation, the Advisory Board of Compass Real Estate Funds, & U.S. Strategic Capital. He has formerly served on the boards of USO Georgia, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the board of trustees of the North Georgia Methodist Foundation.
Lovett graduated from Leadership Georgia. He is a member of Business Executives for National Security, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Atlanta Aero club.

Mr. Lovett was named “One Hundred Most Influential Georgians” by Georgia Trend magazine. After 9/11, he served as a Major in the Georgia Defense Force. Lovett attended Georgia State University, Southern Christian University, Mercer, ABAC and holds two degrees.
