Thomas is a Vice President for U.S. Strategic Capital and joined the team in 2021. He is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing business due diligence processes, market research, financial modeling, and providing operational support. Thomas started his career in Finance with Siemens Industry, Inc where he participated in the Finance Leadership Development Program. He was later involved in the carve-out of the Metals Technologies Business Unit at Siemens Industry, Inc and the formation of Primetals Technologies, a joint-venture of Siemens VAI and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Reporting directly to the CFO of Primetals Technologies, Thomas served in a variety of capacities, focusing primarily on forecasting and budgeting, cost controlling, financial reporting, and Real Estate. He was also a member of the 401k committee, acting as a fiduciary for employee investment funds.
Along with his wife, Thomas owns a 3,000 sqft retail store in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. The store has seen steady annual growth since opening its doors in 2017, despite the recent pandemic.
Thomas received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Georgia.
