Stephen Romanoff

Vice President

Stephen Romanoff is a Vice President for US Strategic Capital and Joined the team in 2021. He is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing business due diligence processes, market research, financial modeling, and providing operational support.

Before joining the team, Stephen was a managing partner for an Atlanta based venture fund investing in big data and AI. Prior to this, Stephen experienced 3 successful exits from startups he was involved in and he personally invested in SpaceX, Palantir, Ordermark, and Doordash.

Stephen volunteers a portion of his time to doctors without borders on the finance and geographical analysis side of operations in sub Saharan Africa. He is also a reviewer in the annual hedge fund competition put on by the southeastern hedge fund association and serves as a strategic advisor to several startups.

Stephen served in the US Army for six years as a paratrooper in a long range reconnaissance and surveillance unit and he studied finance at the University of North Georgia. Airborne all the way!
