Candler is a Senior Vice President for U.S. Strategic Capital and joined the team in 2019. He is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing business due diligence processes, market research, financial modeling, and providing operational support. Before joining U.S. Strategic Capital, he served as a Finance Director at Atticus Franchise Group supporting their Massage Envy investment, focusing on financial reporting, loss prevention, and vendor management, including sole responsibility for product line reviews that resulted in over $800,000 in annual savings. He also supported the Operations team by identifying new franchises for potential acquisition, as well as developing and monitoring test and learn across the 50+ Atticus-owned Massage Envy locations. He previously served in roles of increasing responsibility on the finance teams at The Home Depot and Aaron’s.

Candler received both a B.B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of Georgia, and is the author of the #1 Amazon bestseller From Underdog To Bulldog, which chronicles his journey to walk on to the UGA football team.
